Republicans and Ron Paul Supporters Not Immune To Kool-Aid
Republicans have been infected by the highly infectious disease know as “Drinking the Kool-Aid”. The worst of all of them are the very ardent and unreasoning Ron Paul supporters. Somebody started calling them the Ronulans (after Star Trek’s Romulans who are an offshoot of the unfeeling Vulcans). The Ron Paul supporters are as bad if not worse than the Obama Kool-Aid drinkers.
Try having a discussion with a Ron Paul supporter and you will be greeted with a viscious backlash that would make liberals and the Wall Street supporters cringe. Name calling and cursing are the only argument you will receive when showing a Ron Paul supporter that they are wrong about something. Or that you are right. Other Republican presidential candidates, such as Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich, have the same cult following too.
The lack of listening and reasoning have hit the Republicans hard causing a fracturing of the GOP. This will hurt badly in the long run, and if these Kool-Aid drinkers keep this up, they will enable an Obama re-election. This will be bad for America. The Democrats haven’t made too much of a fuss yet over the GOP fracturing into different factions that are vehemently opposed to each other. They are just sitting back and watching for the victor so they can go on the attack as soon as a clear winner for GOP Presidential Candidate is declared.
It is going to get ugly within the GOP as time goes on. When the candidate has been chosen, it will get even uglier as the liberal, leftwing, Obama worshipping Democrats go into full out attack mode as they did to Sarah Palin. They have that down well. As we saw during the last Presidential election, the GOP was too weak and wimpy to put the smack down on Obama’s past. And the GOP is still too wimpy to go and do what they should have done back then.
As far as I am concerned, none of the current GOP wannabes are worthy of the job. Not one of them is a true conservative. Among them all they either want un-Constitutional mandated healthcare, or bigger government, or nukes for Iran, or the end of the Jewish State of Israel, or they support the Palestinians and so on. Basically, they are all RINOs (Republican In Name Only).
We have no future.

i am 22 and a ron paul supporter. to the person who said the young people only support him because of his views on legalizing drugs you could not be more wrong. i have never done drugs in my life, and i do not plan to if they are legalized (on a federal level mind you). i support ron paul because he understands the roots of our economic crisis (predicting the housing bubble as early as 2003), and he understands that almost all modern wars started by the united states are completely unconstitutional and uncalled for in the name of national defense.
Nobody loves and stands by Ron Paul more than I, and i want obama OUT!! However I dont think Ron Paul would agree with the kool-aid joke. Dont get me wrong, but it could be taken ”the wrong way” and we dont need those type of words (kool-aid) because it is seriously a black joke. What we do as his fans reflect on him..so you can see kool aid is a joke that has been done over and over on tv shows, comedians so i ask only in the name of helping Ron Paul, I’d focus more on obamas policy’s, lies. going over the heads of congress, his actions in Libiya, or the fact he wont bring our troops home..those things ae true and cannot be disputed. Obama’s going to start WWIII if he sides with israel so i’d like to concentrate on that…not kool-aid..RON PAUL 2012
This post wasn’t about Ron Paul, it was about his supporters. At the time it was posted, I had yet to meet a Paul supporter that I could have a reasonable discussion with. The antics were the same as Obama supporters, falling into the rabid, screaming, name calling, theatrics that really turned me off. If you can’t debate in a mature manner with facts and passion instead of hate-mongering, you will loose the argument and not win people over.
Since this posting, most Paul supporters have settled down, mostly I think because they realized that acting like children throwing tantrums got them no where. Unfortunately, the GOP does not wanting us voting for Ron Paul because he will buck their system of corruption, and they can’t let go of their crooked ways.
Instead, they stick us with Romney.
