Left Re-Imaging the Right

First it was Sarah Palin. The left was sure that if they could find pictures of Sarah in a bikini it would horrify the right and we right-wingers would stop supporting her. They were wrong. Now it is Carrie Prejean, Miss California and Miss USA runner up that they are after hoping to find provocative pictures that will turn conservatives against her. FAIL again. A special FAIL to the left for calling Sarah and Carrie the nasty B and C words. That wins over the hearts of conservatives now doesn’t it? Pick on our women and it’s verbal escalation time. Yeah, who is intolerant now?

Why is the left doing this? Because they think the rightwing conservative’s idea of a woman is one in a long hot dress 24 hours a day, seven days a week. They think we prefer our women to be like the women on Little House on the Prairie. What do they think, all we rightwingers are Amish? Please. But they do think that. They think we all are prudes and want to keep women down and not have jobs or their own mind. ME? I love an intelligent conversation with a woman who can think for herself, not the dope-on-a-rope Hillary Clinton type who can only recite the party doctrine as dictated by Obama.

I love a woman who likes guns and can shoot just as well as me or better! Women with guns, wow. Women in uniform with guns, grrr. There is this female Michigan State Police Trooper who patrols my neck of the woods, grrr. But I digress! The left hates wholesome women who are not afraid to have children with disabilities. The left hates wholesome women who live up to their mistakes and refuse to have an abortion after becoming pregnant out of wedlock. Abortion. Whooo boy. Hot topic there. Being pro-life means you are against women having the right do what they want with their bodies. Big lie. It is about the life growing inside that body.Yet the left has re-imaged us as chauvinists.

Tea Parties? Oh boy does the left like to use our right to peacefully assemble and redress our grievances against us. They consider Tea Parties to be racist. How do they figure that? Because there is a black man in the White House and you know us conservatives, we hate blacks therefore the Tea Parties are really about hating black people. See how twisted the liberal mind is? No, Tea Parties are about protesting higher taxes, uncontrolled and irresponsible government spending, bigger government intrusion into our lives, and bigger government period. The left thinks that we conservatives hate all blacks period even though the Democratic Party has some well known former KKK members. And the left has re-imaged us as the racists.

Even hotter than abortion is the homosexual dispute. According to the liberals, rightwing conservatives hate gays. Well, no. That would be the far, far, way far right. Real conservatives don’t hate homosexuals as individuals. It is the homosexual agenda we dislike for Biblical reasons as well as health and humanity reasons. We don’t agree with the homosexual lifestyle, nor do we want it forced on our children in the public schools as a healthy alternative lifestyle. Nor do we want our children taught in public schools that homosexual parents are better than heterosexual parents.

I have had co-workers who were lesbian and they knew where I stood on homosexuality, but we got along fine and really considered ourselves friends. No hate, no verbal sparring or anything like that. We respected each other despite our differences of opinions and beliefs. One of these lesbians (very pretty by the way) brought her “girlfriend” to meet me (also very pretty) and wanted to know if I was interested in a three-way. No hate there! I declined that offer. The left has re-imaged us as hate filled homophobes.

The left has re-imaged us as conservation haters and polluters because we want to drill for our own oil and get off our dependency on foreign oil, that same foreign oil that in turn supports terrorism against us. The left also hates that we won’t fall for the man caused global warming/global climate change hoax, and therefore concludes that we hate the environment, despite that their global warming leader, Al Gore, is one of the biggest polluters one person can be.

We are bad people here on the left because we mostly are for waterboarding terrorists for info about attacks on us. Waterboarding is an enhanced interrogation technique that the left now calls torture, something the lefties were for before they were against. So this makes us evil people. Evil I tell you. What hateful people we are!

We are the party of religious intolerance and just plain intolerance baby! We cling to our guns and our religion and are bitter and don’t like people who are not like us! And nothing could be further from the truth. Obama “calls” himself a christian, yet bashes christians for being religious. Intolerance Obama, intolerance on your part. The more you mock me, the more I cling to God and guns.

I read the “Audacity of Hope” and in it Obama says he feels sorry for some guy (can’t remember the person’s name) because, according to Obama, you are not supposed to interpret the Bible literally. What? You’re not! Really? Obama, did God step down from his throne and put you in His place. Obama Almighty? Last I knew, God makes it very clear in the Bible that we are to interpret it literally. If we don’t, what is the point of Jesus becoming a man and dying on the cross to save us from our sins? Who is intolerant of other people’s religious beliefs? Obama.

Speaking of intolerance, what about the lashing out at us for being pro-life? What about the lashing out at us for being anti-gay marriage? What about the lashing out at the tea parties for exercising our right to redress our grievances? What about all the screaming puppet heads on MSNBC and NBC lashing out at the right and calling us intolerant while they are being intolerant while they are making fools of themselves? They are doing exactly what they accuse us of doing and are doing it everyday.

They are so intolerant of our views that they are totally against everything we stand for just for spite. The left wants to shut us up by bringing back the so-called Fairness Doctrine which will kill conservative talk radio. Whenever and where ever conservatives have a voice the liberals want to shut us up and are attempting to draft laws to make any words we utter hate speech. This would affect preachers on Sunday. They could be charged with hate crimes by preaching against homosexuality and any other sexual deviancy. Who is intolerant again?

What part of we are not against immigration do they not understand? The illegal immigration part. We are against illegal immigration and amnesty for illegals (hello John McCain you RINO). Illegals do not pay taxes like the left wants us to believe. They take away jobs from Americans despite the left saying illegals are doing jobs that Americans won’t do. That is a lie, a huge all-out, consummate lie. Americans are willing to do the jobs illegals are doing, the problem is the people hiring illegals don’t want to pay Americans a decent wage. How convenient that the left will always leave out the illegal part when talking about immigration.

Hate. It is consuming the left everyday and it is getting more violent. When is the last time you heard of a rightwing, conservative protest of a liberal speaker at a college campus that was violent? That is correct, never. Yet when the liberal lefties protest a conservative speaker they attack people, loudly and rudely interrupt the speaker so his message can’t be heard, and destroy private property. They try to cry out that violence is their right to free speech, but they always go to jail for their illegal actions.

Hate. It causes the left to scream profanities at the right. Even members of the left media are guilty while supposedly presenting an “objective” story from a “neutral” position. The only neutral they know is on the gear shifter of their car. So, who are really the ones that are all of the above. The very ones that accuse us of being all of the above.

It is time for Republican, rightwing, Christian, conservatives to set the story straight, to speak out and tell the truth over and over again. We need to make our voices heard or we will have another four years of Obama in 2012, and that is only if the current administration allows a multi-party system to continue to exist. The way it is going, we may not have that opportunity as the Democrats are looking to repeal term limits for President of the United States of America so they can keep Obama their Dear Leader and Dictator for life.

Pray for America, she needs prayer.

I wrote this on the day after 9-11, a day I haven’t let myself forget, nor will I ever forget it.

You gave me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, the wretched refuse of your teeming shore, and I welcomed them with outstretched arm, my torch lighting their way to freedom. From all corners of the earth they have come. Millions have passed beneath my feet and into the safety of my harbor. For over two hundred years people of all kinds fleeing repression and danger of all kinds have sought the freedom of my shores and my cities.

My people in return have sent you money, tools, people with expertise, and aid during times of disaster. They saved you from the likes of Hitler with their young men, many of whom never returned to see my blessed shores or their homes and families again. They have rebuilt your cities and economies. Some of you were once enemies but now are friends and they treat you like friends should, helping every time you run into trouble.

Earthquakes, famine, fire, flood, and enemies have stopped and laid burdens on your countries, more than you can handle alone. Each time my people have responded without regard to their own lives leaving behind loved ones hoping to see them again knowing that some of them might not.

Whether you call it war, conflict, or police action, my people have been there for you ever since these shores have been declared free to all who would come and simply obey their rules. At times I think my people have let too many in and have overwhelmed some of their cities. Yet out of the goodness of their hearts they turn very few away. They even wrote documents declaring themselves and this sacred land free.

I admit, these have not been a perfect people. They have had their share of bad deeds to look back upon, and to remember not to do again. From treating the inhabitants before them as “savages” to enslaving people who did not have light skin. Even after setting the slaves free, they did not treat them well until certain men gave them equal rights, and even to this day there is hostility and open violence.

I cry during these times, but I cry now for my people, more than ever before. Recently, thousands lost their lives at the hands of a few. The two tallest buildings in the city that sets on the edge of my harbor were brought down by men who have an unbridled hatred of my people. Many of those sent to rescue them died also, making the ultimate sacrifice so that others might live. In times of war and peace my people have always given of themselves and given their lives to whomever needs help.

Now, who will come to their aid? Who will help them? Who will assist cleaning the city and make it the jewel of freedom that it has been for so many? Who will help remove the dead? Who will help catch the people responsible for this act of spite and hate? Who will be there for the helpers who have helped so many? I hope that those we have helped will return the favor given so many times over.
