MSM Hypocrisy Part Two
I don’t care for Caroline Kennedy, but the Main Stream Media is clearly showing bias again. This time against royalty, which is really surprising. They are after Caroline for everything they gave a free pass to Obama on. From finances to lack of experience, Caroline Kennedy is not getting a break from the MSM. She really isn’t qualified to be a Senator, but neither is Obama qualified to be president, yet the MSM gave Obama a free pass on that. So why not Caroline? After all, she is a Kennedy! Royalty from Camelot! Her name and family alone has qualified her for the position. How could they do this to a Kennedy? The Kennedys are supposed to be their friends and allies.

Judging by the screaming newspaper headlines and the steamy ecstasy of the gossip columns, people from other worlds might presume that it has already come to pass: that a woman who happens to be named Caroline Kennedy was pole-vaulted above the crowd and sent with magic wand and golden slippers to the U.S. Senate from New York, in the hope of saving the Empire State and bringing goodness to all its inhabitants.After all, why shouldn’t she be sent to the Senate?
Her unique experience of writing a book or two, smiling well, appearing from time to time — but not too often — at city mayoral news conferences announcing help for those who attend New York City public schools — and, well, just being a Kennedy — should suffice.
Her social standing alone, some might argue, would give her the advantage of all advantages. A Kennedy. Camelot. Ah! The greatness of it all? Not.
So why pass Obama with flying colors and not a Kennedy? Maybe they only give one free pass a year. Oh no, not hardly. Other Democrats get free passes all the time.
Surprisingly, uncle Teddy has been quiet as has the rest of the Kennedy Klan. Why aren’t they coming to the rescue of Caroline and defending their rightful heir to Hilary’s Throne? Teddy thinks that his Senate throne should go to his wife when he steps down to keep it in the family.
Ted Kennedy has made clear to confidants that when his time is up, he wants his Senate seat to stay in the family – with his wife, Vicki. Multiple sources in Massachusetts with close ties to the liberal lion say his wife of 16 years has long been his choice to continue carrying the family flame in the Senate. Kennedy won the seat in 1962; his brother John held it from 1953 to 1960. “There’s no question that he’d like Vicki to continue in his seat,” said one Massachusetts Democrat with ties to the Camelot clan who spoke to Kennedy recently, before his health crisis. “She’s smart, and smart politically.” The 54-year-old Victoria Reggie Kennedy, a former hotshot Washington lawyer, is a Louisiana native and the daughter of a politically active judge.
Maybe the Kennedys protesteth not because they don’t want to alienate their friends the media and use them for political gain.
Again the bias shows. Free pass for one but not another? Wow. Final thought, one I have trumpeted before; Hilary lost, Palin was viscously maligned by the Democrats and the liberals, and the MSM, meaning what? That the left and the media really do not want women in places of higher power. They just want them for the media ratings. Sort of like chauvinist men who only use women for sex. Use them then cast them off.
Hypocrites all.
MSM Hypocrisy Part One
Hamas attacks Israel, Israel strikes back, Hamas strikes again, Israel strikes back. Over the weekend I kept up on the news on my iPhone. I counted literally over 100 headlines regarding this new battle between Hamas and Israel. As usual, the biased slant of the Main Stream Media is overwhelmingly in favor of Hamas. The MSM treats them like they are a legitimate political party that should be recognized by the US. What is not mentioned is that Hamas again broke the latest cease fire by firing FIRST on Israel. Israel fired back, Hamas fired back and Israel fired back again.
Always, always the vast majority of the MSM blames Israel. When is America gonna see through the constant lies of the media? Never I fear, never. Not until the anti-Semitic, yellow journalists help Hamas wipe Israel off the map and all Jews are dead. Bastards. Americans get worse everyday with believing all they are told by the MSM. No one can think for themselves, because the media quietly and surreptitiously reports an attack on Israel. They bury the story beneath glossy ads of women in slinky underwear.
Then ba-bam! Israel fights back and suddenly it is front page news and the first story of the news hour. There are interruptions to regular programming and all the talking puppet heads that get paid to lie, do so and do it well and with such dramatic flair that those who cannot think for themselves don’t think and eat it all up.
Once again, the MSM brings shame to journalism.

It is Christmas and I am at work. Had a good early breakfast and gift exchange with the parents before trudging off to work on this cold wintery day. Hopefully it will be slow.

With all the companies that are hurting out there, many have decided to make their own economic stimulus package by suing the Big 3. No, I don’t mean the automakers (we know you can’t squeeze money out of the UAW), I mean Google, Apple, and Microsoft. One company has even gone after Apple’s OS X operating system saying it isn’t patented. Huh? Some people are even saying that the creator of Apple’s CoverFlow interface for OSX and iTunes should go after Apple for stealing that idea, even though the creator’s own web site says Apple bought and paid for CoverFlow. I still use the original app, it really is cool.
Ah yes, tis the season to be greedy.

MUSKEGON HEIGHTS — Police are seeking three men who beat and robbed a 77-year-old man as he shoveled snow outside a West Michigan restaurant to earn money. Muskegon Heights police tell the Muskegon Chronicle that one of three men put a gun to the victim’s face about 4 a.m. Tuesday and demanded his money. When the victim tried to knock the gun away with his shovel, he was hit from behind. He suffered a cut to the back of his head and a black eye.

After lots of snow, temperatures well below freezing, and wind chills in the negative double digits (caused by global warming), my part of Michigan is now experiencing near 40 degree temperatures and rain. Global warming is now officially here. The rain is supposed to clear up soon (caused by global warming) and we will have nice weather for Christmas.
Notice a trend here? If you have been following my blog, you will have noticed that the global warming alarmists are attributing any and all weather changes to global warming this month so far. From snow and cold, to heat and rain, all weather is now directly due to global warming. Which still can’t be totally proven to be caused by man. Hmmm.
