ted, i totally agree with you. i watched the speech by socialist obama and reread the speech. only thing i got out of his speech is that he is very negative about america. he continually believes that america is bad place to live. liberals were crying over the speech and i guess these liberals saw the “messiah”. unfortunately he is not the “Messiah”.

Palin’s Trooper’Gate: Beating MSM distortions to the truth

Posted in Sarah Palin by Wade Moline on August 30, 2008

I had not commented on this subject yet as I have been searching for more info. Well, I found this site that has very good and comprehensive details of the real story behind the Democrat’s and MSM’s misleading (lies) stories on Troopergate.

Palin’s Trooper’Gate: Beating MSM distortions to the truth

The Weak Democrats and Their True Colors

Can’t they get enough of themselves? Aren’t they sick of themselves? When I watched Obama’s acceptance speech I literally expected the crowd en masse to get down on their knees, start bowing and chanting in unison, “O Bama, O Bama, O Bama.” I also expected to see a light shine down from the sky.

At Palin’s acceptance I heard USA, USA, USA. I never did see the whole speech by Obama. What I did hear was full of lies and about how he, single handed, will change the world. Now how will he do that? Suspend the Constitution? He will have to, because that is the only way he can do what he wants without going through the legal political process.

Team Obama whines, clamors for relevance

The Dems say Palin has no foreign policy experience yet neither does Obama, unless you count his trips out of the country, which the Dems do count, even though he was campaigning, not making political decisions or making foreign policy.

From Michael Tomasky at the Guardian. “On the merits, it must be said that this is a deeply irresponsible and unserious choice. Someone who’s been governor of a small, remote and comparatively unimportant state for a year and a half is not in any way, shape or form the best possible choice he could have made. Democrats need to say that, too.”

That is all he had to say. What a weak argument. Alaska is a small state? An unimportant state? Alaska is the only state that borders two countries, one of which is becoming increasingly hostile towards democracy (Russia), and the other (Canada) has thousands of miles of open and unpatrolled borders with us. And he doesn’t explain how Palin is an irresponsible and unserious choice. She just is because he says she is. Weak, weak, weak. Tomasky’s point is irresponsible and unserious. Read his short and poorly thought out article – How the Democrats should attack Sarah Palin

Of course there are the supposed Big Oil connections that Palin has when it has already been proven there are none. “Governor Palin shares John McCain’s commitment to overturning Roe v. Wade, the agenda of Big Oil and continuing George Bush’s failed economic policies — that’s not the change we need, it’s just more of the same.” – Bill Burton, Obama spokesperson.

Sarah Palin has no failed economic issues in Alaska and has been fiscally responsible towards her constituents AND stopped the pork project “Bridge to Nowhere.” More weak arguments as is the argument over Roe v. Wade. Of course she is against abortion, she is a true conservative, duh.

From Democratic Central – “Am I the only one who thinks that when Sarah Palin speaks, she looks and sounds like she is Miss Alaska, proclaiming her desire to work for world peace?” What? Because she spoke with confidence at her acceptance speech? She never mentioned promising world peace at her acceptance speech. In fact, she never promised anything, unlike Obama who really is promising world peace and making promises that he could never keep without violating the constitution. And as far as the Miss Alaska thing, talking about world peace is bonus points in all beauty pageants. Another weak point.

Yet more – Democrat Hypocrisy: Palin’s A Bad mother

What the Rank-and-File Libtards Are Saying

I could go on for pages with stuff like this. The bottom line is this, the Democrats really do not want a woman in power. They are showing their true colors. They have no real strategy for dealing with McCain’s VP choice and immediately started firing from the hip without any regard to their target and who she is. They got blindsided and sucker-punched, and now they are wildly and blindly firing back with useless ammo. They got hurt big time and are now resorting to chauvinistic and sexist comments. You just know Hillary has got to be steamed about the way her party is handling this. You just know Hillary now realizes, by the reaction of her party to Palin, that they never intended to let her get the nomination for president because she is a woman. The Democrats used her and she is just beginning to realize that.

And the Dems call the GOP party a chauvinist party. And oh, has anyone noticed that Obama is running on his own, that he appears to not want a VP and that his whole campaign is about HIM, where McCain’s campaign is about putting America first?

This will probably be my last post until after the Labor Day Holiday. Planning a small trip, Sunday I will be at the Detroit Grand Prix and Monday a trip to see some of Michigan’s harbors, sailboats, and lighthouses. Maybe some photos to show off.

Have a great weekend folks and remember the laborer this holiday!

The Buzz About McCain-Palin

Posted in Sarah Palin by Wade Moline on August 29, 2008

Around the conservative world, the buzz about McCain’s choice for vice-prez is virtually 100% supportive. From the Democrats comes nothing but negativity, of course that was expected and their arguments are very weak. Among those arguments are Palin’s lack of foreign policy experience. Well, Biden has none either. Another weak take from the Dems is her lack of experience overall and her age. Well, Obama is not much older and he is also very inexperienced, and he is running for president, not vice-president.

“It is pretty audacious for the Obama campaign to say that Governor Palin is not qualified to be Vice President. She has a record of accomplishment that Senator Obama simply cannot match. Governor Palin has spent her time in office shaking up government in Alaska and actually achieving results — whether it’s taking on corruption, passing ethics reform or stopping wasteful spending and the ‘bridge to nowhere.’ Senator Obama has spent his time in office running for President”. McCain aide Jill Hazelbaker

The Democrats are also slamming her for being a small town mayor. Well, that small town mayor went to be a state governor. She also got rid of corrupt politicians. She stopped the infamous “Bridge to Nowhere” and demanded a responsible fiscal approach to connecting Ketchikan to Gravina Island. Fiscal responsibility in a politician! This is not your ordinary politician you weak-minded Democrats. This is a person who walks the walk.

From CNN: “Palin directed state transportation officials to find the most fiscally responsible alternative for access to the airport. She said the best option would be to upgrade the ferry system.

I went to Obama’s campaign site to see what they have to say and I found that you can’t even use his site without signing up. McCain’s site is open to anyone. Hmm. I find that interesting. Shows how unapproachable Obama is.

From the Chairman of the American Conservative Union: “The selection of Governor Palin is great news for conservatives, for the party and for the country. Her dedication to principle, her courage both before and after her election as Governor of Alaska and her personal qualities make her a perfect choice for Vice President. I predict any conservatives who have been lukewarm thus far in their support of the McCain candidacy will work their hearts out between now and November for the McCain – Palin ticket.”

Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman-Schulz (D-FL) is stating that Palin is part of a culture of corruption in Alaskan politics. Not true, not true at all. As is well known about Palin, she has fought, and gotten rid of, corrupt Republicans in Alaskan politics. Wow. The Democrats will leave no lie unturned.

“I’m excited that Senator John McCain has chosen Governor Sarah Palin as his vice-presidential running mate in this all important election year. Governor Palin is a conservative Republican with a track record of reforming government. She will strengthen Senator McCain’s appeal to Reagan Democrats, and supporters of Senator Hillary Clinton, who are looking for a president who has the experience and temperament to be commander-in-chief. I look forward to seeing Senator McCain and Governor Palin in the White House in 2009.” Michigan GOP Chairman Saul Anuzis.

And let’s not forget, Sarah Palin is anti-abortion and lives it. Her youngest son, born in April, was diagnosed with Downs Syndrome before he was born. Because he would never have what pro-choicers call a “normal, healthy, active life”, Sarah had the choice to have an abortion. I believe that the thought never crossed her mind. So she has five children instead of four.

Best choice, excellent choice. And pooh on the male Democrats who say she is not the right woman for women.
