Dems Love Memory Loss
The Democrats and the left-wing, bleeding heart, liberals love memory loss. Why? Because America’s memory is short term, the past is quickly forgotten and it is buried by the left so that they can make themselves look good.
The greatest example of this is the recent cease-fire of hostilities between Israel and Hezbollah. Many on the left are declaring this current cease fire a victory in the first war between Israel and Hezbollah. First war? First, it is not a war. It is another battle in the war that Israel is waging against its enemies, Hezbollah being one of many. Also, this is not the first “war” or conflict between Israel and Hezbollah. It is one of many since 1982 when Hezbollah was formed.
There have been cease-fires and U.N. Resolutions before, but all have failed. The left keeps forgetting that fact. What about Iran and Syria. Both invaded Lebanon and launched attacks against Israel. Israel invaded Lebanon and drove both out of Lebanon. Each time though, the void left behind has been filled. This time there is no void to fill because Hezbollah has neither been driven out of Lebanon nor have they been disarmed. In fact, Hezbollah is re-arming right now and has been videotaped doing so.
Another victim of short term memory loss is 9-11. Democrats, liberals, and the left in general have forgotten 9-11 as evidence by their goal of a strategic withdrawal in the fight against terrorism. They believe that if we just withdraw from the Middle East altogether there would be no terrorism. It must be nice to live in such a dreamy dream land. Terrorism is on the rise because more and more countries are fighting and striving to be free. The terrorists do not want this. As long as there is freedom anywhere in the Middle East there will be terrorism there.
The terrorists groups have even stated that when they force the United States out of the Middle East and they have totally destroyed Israel, they will not stop their self decreed Fatwah until they have destroyed the United States as well. They are saying that they will bring the fight back to us right here in the USA. They will not stop.
But the Democrats, liberals, and left-wingers have forgotten all this. They believe that by ignoring the Middle East and totally withdrawing from it, and by allowing the destruction of Israel (whom they have no love for), there will be no more terrorism.
It is this kind of thinking that got us into this mess in the first place and why 9-11 happened. The only President to take terrorism seriously before 9-11 was Ronald Reagan. Presidents Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, George H. W. Bush, William Clinton, And George W. Bush did not take terrorists and terrorism seriously. As a result, 9-11.
It is time to take our heads out of the sand, fix our short term memory loss, and rid the world of the Jihadists, the Fascist Muslim extremists who want to exterminate us all.
United Nations Makes Right Move, Howard Dean’s Scream II
In an announcement, that I never thought I would hear in my almost forty-three years, Kofi Annan, Secretary-General of the United Nations, stated that Israel has the right to defend itself against the terrorist groups Hamas and Hezbollah. Annan still called for a cease fire and an end to hostilities between Israel and Hezbollah, but that is more or less expected, a standard or tradition or more ceremony than anything. No one should have realistic expectations that a cease fire will happen just because it was asked for. Yet many of us do expect it and are painting Israel as the bad guy and Hezbollah as just another group fighting for the rights of the “little guy.” This couldn’t be further from the truth.
While the pressure is on the United States to get Israel to backdown, the United States is putting pressure on Hezbollah, Syria, and Iran to cease their attacks on Israel and release the Israeli soldiers they have taken captive. However, other politicians in Washington are not in agreement with the White House on that stance. Democrat Howard Dean directly placed blame for the heat-up between Israel and its sworn enemies on President George W. Bush. According to Dean if there was a Democrat in the White House they would have already been working day and night to prevent the flare-up of hostilities between Hezbollah and Israel and this current war would not be happening.
As usual, the Democrats want to placate the terrorists rather than drive them from the face of the earth like they want to do to us. What Howard Dean (and others like him) fail to understand is this simple and basic truth about Hezbollah; Hezbollah wishes to see nothing more than the utter decimation of Israel, the complete death of all Zionists and Infidels, and that includes Britain and the United States.
Hezbollah is nothing more than a terrorist organization that feeds on hate. Hezbollah means “Party of God”. The ideology of Hezbollah is to remove all influence of Western civilization and culture, and do so by the total destruction of the aforementioned Zionists and Infidels. Unfortunately, there are many around the world and in the United States who see Hezbollah as a legitimate political party. The truth is, Hezbollah was founded to combat Israel. If anybody thinks that Hezbollah is a legitimate and peaceful political party, all they have to do is look at Hezbollah’s flag. The truth begins there, the truth that Hezbollah is a violent terrorist organization that cannot be dealt with by any diplomatic means, period.
UAW and the Marines
Last year the UAW felt the backlash of the American people when they made a very unpopular decision. A Detroit local union hall had previously allowed a nearby Marine armory’s personnel to park in their union hall parking lot. Suddenly, they told the Marines that they could no longer park there if they owned foreign made cars, voted for George W. Bush, or didn’t vote for Democrats. Of course, the Democratic Party supported this inane action. Thus was born my second most popular commentary which was sent to all of Michigan’s major newspapers.
It has become painfully apparent lately that there are many in this nation who have forgotten, or have chosen to forget, the very Spirit and Essence of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States of America. These Tories wish for greater government control over every aspect of our daily living. They also wish to limit certain freedoms of choice for our Marines by telling them who they can vote for and what type of personal transportation they must buy. By adhering and conforming to certain “rules” these Marines are then, and only then, deemed worthy of using certain parking areas.
These Marines have risked their lives to defend Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness as guaranteed by the Declaration of Independence. It angers me that anyone would be so presumptuous or so pretentious as to limit the freedoms of our freedom fighters, the Marines, or any member of our armed services.
They (Marines) should be the first in line to pursue their own happiness. They have earned that right as have all of our soldiers in the armed forces. Freedom of choice is a part of what they defend and if they choose to vote for George W. Bush or choose to buy a non-union made foreign automobile then that is their choice and that is how it shall be whether some like it or not. That is the Spirit of America, freedom of choice.
God forbid that the UAW and the Democrats should even dare to think to control the lives and choices of others in such a fashion. It is sad, but they have appeared to have changed their mottos to, respectively, “You can buy any car you want as long as it is union and American made” and “You can vote for anyone you want as long as they are a Democrat.”
Nation wide the UAW has made themselves a laughing stock. They have found that their tripe and malefic matter that they have trumpeted and presented as popular idealism is not popular idealism. It is idiocy at its best and betrayal of American Democracy and freedom at its worst.
The UAW and the Democrats need to set aside their lustful desires to control the lives of others. Both of these groups work for the people, the people do not work for them. This is the way our democracy is meant to work. They need to be reminded that our documents of freedom grant us inalienable rights, rights for the people not the government. If the UAW and the Democrats believe otherwise then they shall rename themselves the Communist Auto Workers Union, and the Communist Party.
It was Voltaire who said “I may disagree with what you have to say, but I shall defend to the death your right to say it.” This is what our Marines are doing, defending to the death our rights including the freedom of speech. Now leave our Marines alone and drop this tyrannical and misguided idealism and thank our God and this nation’s founding fathers that I have the right to write this, this paper has the right to print this, and you have the right to read this, or not read this if you choose.
More Hezbollah Ignorance by Buchanan and Kerry.
Recently, Pat Buchanan exposed his ignorance about Hezbollah as did John Kerry. Pat Buchanan said on MSNBC in regards to Hezbollah, “They’re calling for wars against people that never attacked us, I don’t care how bad they are. There are wicked people all over this world, but you don’t go after people unless they come after you.”
John Kerry stated that if he were president there would not be a war between Israel and Hezbollah because he would have prevented it.
First, let’s look at Pat’s pea-brained proclamation that Hezbollah has never come after us.
1983 – Hezbollah blows up barracks in Beirut killing 241 American servicemen.
March, 1984 – Army officer William Francis Buckley was kidnapped and tortured and eventually killed by Hezbollah after being held 444 days. His remains were found in 1991 on a street leading to the Beirut airport.
June, 1985 – During the infamous hijacking of TWA Flight 847, Navy Petty Officer Robert Stethem was beaten, tortured, shot and eventually killed by Hezbollah. His body was dumped out of the plane.
February 17, 1988 – Lt. Colonel William R. Higgins was kidnapped by Hezbollah in Lebanon while part of a U.N. Peacekeeping force. Lt. Colonel Higgins was tortured and eventually hung and murdered by Hezbollah. His body was found on a street in Beirut in 1991. Looks like Pat needs a history lesson.
What would or could John Kerry have done to prevent this war? Nothing. Terrorists like the ones belonging to Hezbollah do not negotiate, they torture and kill. The leaders of Hezbollah have continuously announced that they will not stop their attacks on Israel until Israel is wiped off the face of the planet. They have also stated that they will not rest until all of the area is under their rule, from “Spain to Iraq.”
John Kerry is delusional if he thinks that he could have prevented the flare-up in the Middle-East. Howard Dean previously made nearly the same comment when he said that if there were a Democrat in the White House there would be no war at all in the Middle-East.
Who are these guys kidding besides themselves? Hezbollah has intricately woven themselves into Lebanon’s infrastructure by building roads and hospitals and by becoming a part of Lebanese politics. They use the homes of the Lebanese to hide and store their weapons of war and thus, they shield themselves behind innocent people as terrorists are well known to do, and defy Israel to attack them, which Israel has now done.
By craftily weaving themselves into Lebanese society, Hezbollah has masterfully deceived the liberals and the left in this country. Bleeding hearts just cannot see, or do not want to see, what Hezbollah has accomplished with all the zeal of a demon possessed Tyrannosaurus Rex. Hezbollah has deviously placed themselves close to Israel’s border with Lebanon so that they can cunningly carry out their master plan of killing all Zionists and Infidels in Israel. The weak and the weak-minded in this country refuse to remove the blinders that they wear and blame their own country and President Bush for this Middle-East conflagration.
Hezbollah, the masters of deception, have mastered inveiglement at a whole new level beyond anything we have ever seen before with the exception of one man, Adolph Hitler. The Jews have been the most persecuted people on the planet in all of history and Hezbollah is continuing this evil genocide with the blessings of Iran, Syria, and those here in the United States who have been fooled, duped, tricked, mislead, and taken-in by Hezbollah, masters of depraved wickedness and deceitfulness.

This is a rebuttal to an opinion by another letter writer to the Argus Press of Owosso, Michigan.
Bruce A. Gorcyca’s commentary in the Tuesday, August 8th edition of the Argus Press necessitates rebuttal due to blatant inaccuracies within his article about Hezbollah.
First and foremost on the rebuttal list is his comment that Hezbollah did not start killing civilians. As soon as Hezbollah was founded they did indeed start killing civilians. Hezbollah began its continuing reign of terror on Israeli citizens as soon as it was founded and its goals were military, not political. Hezbollah freely admits this and states that the sole reason for their existence is to rid the Middle East of the State of Israel. And they did not limit their immediate attacks to just Jews.
In 1983 Hezbollah suicide bombers killed 241 U.S. servicemen when they bombed U.S. barracks in Beirut. Army officer William Francis Buckley was kidnapped in 1984 by Hezbollah and held for 444 days. By infiltrating in this manner, the Lebanese became even more dependent on the terrorist organization.
Meanwhile, Hezbollah began deliberately stockpiling rockets and arms in the houses of innocent civilians with the express purpose of making them targets. The Party of God hides behind innocent women and children.
Gorcyca also says that precision guided missiles and bombs do not kill innocent civilians on a daily basis. He fails to mention Hezbollah’s unguided “fire and forget” missiles that land anywhere and everywhere indiscriminately with the intention of killing innocents. These missiles are filled with metal ball bearings that are made to kill those within range who survive the bomb’s blast when it hits.
What he does not mentioned is that the Jews are not strapping bombs on themselves and detonating them in public places killing innocent people. Israel’s people are not driving cars filled with explosives into the middle of crowded markets and detonating them. All terrorists organizations, including Hezbollah, use those tactics to kill and maim. Israel does not.
Has Israel made mistakes in this latest war? Yes they have. They have apologized for those mistakes and have paid for them with the blood of their own people. However, unlike Hezbollah, they are not deliberately targeting innocent civilians, nor are they hiding behind them.
It is time for Americans to wake up and see these terrorists organizations for what they are. Murderers. If you tell a lie often enough and long enough, eventually it becomes the truth. It is similar to Stockholm Syndrome where the captive starts empathizing and sympathizing with their captors. That is what is happening here. People in America have been told so often and so long that Hezbollah is just a political party that many believe it to be so.
The facts are, Hezbollah was founded in 1982 and has been killing civilians in Israel from the very beginning. They admit to killing innocent Jews and are very proud do so, and they, by their own admission, will never stop until there is no more Israel, the same edict, or Fatwa, decreed by the Fatah, al Qaeda, and the Taliban.

The following appeared in the Owosso (Michigan) Argus Press as a rebuttal to an editorial by their editor (“dc” is the chairman and editor Richard E. Campbell).
In Friday’s Argus Press, dc comments on the Israeli-Lebanese-Hezbollah war in an editorial [In Our Opinion]. In that editorial he puts forward his thought that Israel has overreacted to the kidnapping of a soldier by the Palestinians and two by Hezbollah. “Too heavy-handed,” was his exact phrase. He also goes on to say, “The Israelis seem bent on their way or no way.” While dc does admit that Hezbollah “lit the matches that created the flame,” he appears to be admitting such reluctantly.
Continuing, dc implies that the United States needs to act to end this war and that “No one was willing to put out the fire while it was small, still extinguishable.” It is obvious that dc has no idea about the Hezbollah Islamic terrorist ideology or mindset; that ideology/mindset being the total destruction of the Zionists and the Infidels, those being Israel, Britain, and the United States. Hezbollah wants us all dead. Period. No negotiations, no compromise.

Cease Fire Not Last of Hezbollah
Don’t weep for joy yet. Instead, be wary and watchful. Hezbollah is not yet done. Does anybody really believe that Hezbollah is just going to allow this self-proclaimed victory to be the end of its attacks against against Israel? I believe not, for we are seeing history repeat itself. Terrorist states and terrorist organizations do not quit their Fatwahs. All a cease fire will do is allow Hezbollah to regroup, rearm, and fight again another day. A quick and easy cease fire that looks to good to be true is too good to be true.
Recall the following history of America’s war on terrorism. We drove the Taliban out of Afghanistan. Now they are renewing their attacks in that same country. They regrouped and rearmed. Next, we quelled Al-Queda in Iraq. Al-Queda has emerged more dangerous and deadly than before our invasion of Iraq after having ample time to reorganize and plan. See a cycle yet? If not, read on.
Lebanon has been a launch pad of terror on Israel. Iran invaded Lebanon and launched attacks against Israel. Israel invaded Lebanon and drove Iran out. Israel left Lebanon under international pressure. Syria followed Iran’s departure by invading Lebanon and launching attacks against Israel. Israel invaded Lebanon and drove Syria out. Israel stayed in Lebanon from 1982 until 2000, leaving once again under international pressure despite the formation of Hezbollah in 1982.
From 2000 to 2006 Hezbollah stockpiled arms and received backing and support from both Iran and Syria before finally attacking Israel. Israel invaded Lebanon, and once again under international pressure has withdrawn. In 2005 Israel withdrew from the Gaza Strip under international pressure and with the promise that the Palestinians would stop their suicide bombings. The Palestinians have not stopped yet.
The cycle of violence against Israel will not stop until Christ returns as foretold in the Bible. In the meantime, false prophets will rise and fall, but no man from any country will be able to stop the rising flood of violence against Israel.
For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
